Enjoy a Yume Nikki fangame desktop companion! Version 1.0 includes Alex from Severed Ties and Mazetsuki from Without a Clear Path.

Right click on the character to open the menu. Over time, effects will appear for the player to collect by colliding with them.

Add custom characters! Use the templates in the characters folder to add your own character. For a character to appear as an option, there needs to be a folder for it with at least 1 spritesheet and an EffectsData.json with no format errors. The EffectsData.json needs to have the spritesheet's name inside. If the character has any effects, there will also need to be a character spritesheet for each one, a spritesheet for the effect icons, and which sprite on the sheet is for that effect. Feel free to modify the 2 templates provided.
